Top 6 Characters That Should be in Marvel Rivals

 Hey! How is it going? Let's talk about Marvel Rivals, a great game that was released on December 6, 2024. I have really enjoyed playing this game with my Brother and Cousin. Marvel Rivals has really awesome characters, some being as cool as Moon Knight to some as cute as Jeff the Shark. And with it being a Marvel game, bringing in new characters can be endless. So I have decided to make a list of Marvel characters that I think should end up in Marvel Rivals.

6. Drax

When I saw that the Guardians of the Galaxy were in the game, I was surprised not to see Drax. Like, how is it even the Guardians of the Galaxy if Drax isn’t there? I could see Drax being a Vanguard as he rushes into battle like one. He also could team up with Mantis, where he can recover faster or gain more shields. I can’t really think of what Marvel Rivals could do for his abilities or ultimate, So let me know if you guys have any ideas?

5. Cosmo

Cosmo would be a great addition to the Marvel Rivals character roster. Cosmo can make a really good “Strategist" character, and I know what you are thinking, and yes, the Guardians of the Galaxy in Marvel Rivals already have two strategists, Mantis and Adam Warlock. But I could not see Cosmo really being a “Duelist”, as she does more Telepathy. Also Cosmo is able to make Force shields, Illusion, and Telepathic manipulation. Cosmo could also have team ups with the Guardians of the Galaxy and other characters. And yes, I want Cosmo to team up with Jeff the Shark. I had to think about what Cosmo ultimate could be, and thought it could be like Invisible Woman where she can create a big shield that also heals people while also dealing damage like Rocket's ultimate

4. Carnage

This would be awesome if Marvel Rivals added Carnage to the game. First off, we do not really have a lot of villains in the game, more anti-heroes in fact. Carnage would make a deadly “Duelist” as he is able to make weapons out of his symbiote powers. I think his abilities could mimic a little of Venom’s where he can wall climb and also use tentacles to deal damage. He also could mimic a little bit of Wolverine’s abilities as he could use his claws for attacks. We obviously know that Carnage would team up with Venom, but this time I want to flip it where Carnage is the anchor and Venom gets a new ability. This ability could be where Venom can also make weapons. For his ultimate, I think he could grow bigger like Mister Fantastic, make his tentacles sprawl out of control and deal damage. Plus him saying” Let There be Carnage” for the voice line-would be sick.

3. Ghost Rider

Come on, how cool would it be just to see this guy riding his flaming bike around the map? Ok, I know Ghost Rider can’t just ride around the map the whole time, but this flaming skull would be a great addition to the game. Ghost Rider is going to be our other “Vanguard” on this list. I was watching some of the Ghost Rider movie clips and it got me thinking. He would make a better “Vanguard" than a “Duelist" as he can take a lot of hits like one. Ghost Rider could even team up with Moon Knight, as he is the “fist of vengeance” and Ghost Rider is the “spirit of vengeance”. I could see his normal attack being with his shotgun and his ability attacks involving his flaming chains. You are probably wondering what team ups I gave to Moon Knight and Ghost Rider. Wouldn't it be cool if Moon Knight’s ultimate is where his Hand of Khonshu is on fire? Ghost Rider’s ultimate has to be with his bike, I can't think of any details on how it would look, I just know it has to involve his bike.

2. Spider Woman / Jessica Drew

Ok, I know you're wondering why I picked Jessica Drew over Gwen Stacy, and let me explain why. Gwen Stacy's powers are just like Peter Parker’s, where it would have felt like the same character, whereas, Jessica Drew’s are more different. Jessica has the Abilities to “Self-Propel Glide" which allows her to glide in the air, and “Venom Blast" that is a bio-electricity that she can channel and discharge through her hands. And those Abilities already give her awesome pliability. I was bouncing back and forth to figure out if she was going to be a “Duelist” or “Strategist”. But I decided to give her a Duelist title, because Strategist does not really fit her character. This already gives Spider Woman lots of potential and plus we need more Spider heroes in Marvel Rivals. I even came up with the Team-ups, and, Yes, Spiderman is one of them. The other one involves Black Widow as they were both spies for S.H.I.E.L.D. The team up could even have Spider Woman being the anchor for Black Widow giving her more utility for her ability kit. Her ultimate could be where she emits a big “Venom Blast” and discharges it like Iron Man.

1. Spider Man / Miles Morales

Ok, we all know that out of everyone on this list, Miles should be in this game. It's crazy to me that he's not in the game yet. Unlike Peter, Miles has a wide variety of abilities that can be used in the game. For example, Miles can use Venom Punch, Camouflage, and Venom Strike. Also, like Spider Woman, can emit bio-electricity and use it to make a “Venom Blast”. His team ups can even be with the other spider heroes in game and if there were to add Spider Woman I bet he would team up with her as well. For his ultimate, he could make an electric surge that can discharge in an area like Scarlet Witch. Also, wouldn’t it be funny if his Venom Strike was called “Shoulder Touch” and he says ”Hey”? But I have no doubt that Miles Morales could get into Marvel Rivals.
